Radacadabra in association with Sargent
Cancer Care for Children are hoping to involve you in a Practice-a-thon to
raise money for children with cancer simply by practising
dance.
All you have to do is practise dance and movement for
20 minutes a day for two weeks and ask your friends and
family
to sponsor you. By doing what you love to do – dance – you
can help to raise money for Sargent Cancer Care for Children.
Over 200,000 children enter Royal Academy of Dance examinations
worldwide each year. The Practice-a-thon is the perfect scheme
to help you prepare for exams while raising money for children
with cancer.
For more information on Practice-a-thon
download the attachment at the bottom of this page or visit www.sargent.org for
a registration form.
“I wish I had had additional motivation during my
rigorous training for Chicago. Practice-a-thon! Dance & Movement
is ideal motivation for anyone working towards exams, a performance,
or even just improving their skills.” (Gaby Roslin,
Patron of Sargent Cancer Care for Children).
Why don’t you keep a diary of your Practice-a-thon
and we will post it on the Radacadabra website so that
other people can read your experiences.
