Susannah Simons

Susannah Simons is Head of Public Affairs and Outreach for BBC Radio and Music and as such has responsibility for developing the education and outreach work of all the BBC's performing groups.
Susannah is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She was the Presenter of the PM programme on BBC Radio 4 for ten years before joining Channel 4 to present Business Daily. Susannah was also present at the beginning of Classic FM where she continued to present programmes whilst also being responsible for the Do More with Music initiatives designed to introduce a new generation to the joys of Classical Music.
She has been Chairman of the NYDC for the last 2 years having served on the board for 10, she is also on the board of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, the London advisory board of Arts and Business and has recently joined the advisory board of Artis, a company looking at new ways of providing arts education in Primary schools.
