Y'DScreen

Y’DScreen is a new opportunity for youth dance groups to create short dance films for broadcast on Channel 4.

Channel 4 is a pioneering dance film producer and broadcaster. C4 has committed to working with Youth Dance England , the national agency for youth dance, on Y’DScreen. Four films will be commissioned and broadcast through C4’s ‘Three Minute Wonder’ series in November 2006. South East Dance, the leading national dance development agency for dance on screen, will produce the films in collaboration with YDE.

Thank you to all the youth dance groups and directors that sent in their application forms.

Five youth dance companies have been invited to join us in creating new dance films for Channel 4 with four new dance film Directors.
